Our senior debating team had a fantastic win last week when they travelled to Ballyhanuis to compete in the first round of the ACCS Debating Competition.
The team were asked to propose the motion 'This House would make Transition Year mandatory' and were up against Castlerea Community School.
Our speakers on the day were Laura Malone, Oisin Maher and Isabelle Day.
Wishing our debating team the best of luck as they will now go on to compete in the next round of the competition.
