I hope that you are all enjoying your Summer break and looking forward to getting back to school. Due to COVID-19, we have been given an opportunity to run a Summer Camp in school as we are a DEIS school. This camp will run from Monday the 17th of August to Friday the 21st of August.
The camp will start at 10.00am and finish at 3.00pm each day. The aims of this camp are to:
- Provide students with the opportunity to reconnect with school, with teachers and peers and to re- establish these important relationships.
- Support students’ physical, social and emotional wellbeing.
- Support students to reintegrate/transition into their planned education setting for the next school year with their peers.
- Build confidence amongst the learners so that they can continue into the next phase of their education.
- Provide students with the practical and technological skills they need to engage in a meaningful way with blended learning in the future.
The camp will look at literacy, numeracy, student wellbeing and ICT and will feature aspects of indoor and outdoor learning opportunities. The camp will offer activities such as cooking, sport and special effects make up demonstration as well as other activities. Please click on link for more information

Students do not have to wear uniform and their lunch will be provided by the school.
There are limited spots available for this camp and it will be based on a first come first served basis. If your son/daughter would like to take part please let me know by email. My email address is
