Congratulation are in order for all 22 athletes who competed in the Connaught Schools Multi-event indoor championship in Athlone last Tuesday 25th of October.
There were some notable performances in the day 👟
All girls completed hurdles, shot putt, 800m, high jump and long jump🥳
Boys did hurdles, shot putt, long jump, 200m and 800m👏
There were 25-40 athletes in each competition and a number of our students here in Clifden Community School finished in the top 10 scores.
Special mention to Zak Mulkerrin who was astonishing taking gold in the 1st year category and qualifying for All Irelands in November🥇
A great day was had by all and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for these super athletes.
