Local Manual Handling Instructors Rob King & Charles Conneely (from R King Safety) came into the school to give a talk on Health & Safety and Back Care. It was a very interesting and worthwhile workshop. Students were shown exactly how to lift a box or heavy container without hurting themselves. The students will find this helpful in the future as they are currently preparing for their 2nd Work Experience placement.
Both Rob and Charles are past pupils and it's great to see former students sharing their expertise with our young people.
