As part of this year's LCVP enterprise plan two groups, within the 5B Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme class, decided to put their plan into action and in doing so raised over 1,100 euro, combined, for two charities close to their hearts, Temple Street and The Irish Cancer Society. For The Irish Cancer Society, a school-wide 'Jersey day' was organised and for Temple Street a 'Christmas Jumper Day' was held in conjunction with The Student Council.
On behalf of the LCVP class, I would like to sincerely thank all students and staff members who participated in these two events. It is uplifting to witness students and staff come together for such great causes. A small gesture goes a long way!
I would also like to thank students within the 5B LCVP class who organised and implemented these events, as well as ensured that the money raised was counted and reached both charities safely. The success of both days is a testament to the hard work that went on behind the scenes!
