Under 19 Boys Soccer Connacht Cup Round 2 Result
Seamount Kinvara 1
Clifden C.S 3
With another assured win for the Senior Boys Soccer team away from home against Kinvara, they can now look forward with confidence to their final group game at home to Yeats College, Galway on Friday 9th of November at 10 45a.m in Letterfrack.
The team played well throughout the game with Byron Lydon, Kevin Holmes and Eoin Mahon dominating midfield against a very competitive kinvara side. Despite missing the injured duo of Darragh Kennedy and Sandy O Callaghan, the Clifden forward line led by Ruairi King had too much class for the Seamount back line. In defence, Andrew Nee and Darren Molloy played really well in front of Man of the Match Sean Black.
Clifden Team: Sean Black, Darren Molloy, Dillon Holland, Martin Petrov, Andrew Nee, Eoin Mahon, Kevin Holmes, Byron Lydon, Theo Joyce, Ruairi King, Lewis Dickinson.
Subs: Noah Murray, Nathan Molloy.
