Well done to all our athletes who competed in the Regional athletics competitions in all grades, Minor, Junior, Intermediate and Senior. It is fantastic to see so many students completing🏃♀️
A special well done to all those who qualified and competed in the Connaught Finals in Athlone bringing home 3 gold medals, (Oisin Maher u16 mile, Tom McHugh Shot and Discus). 4 silver (Oisin Maher 800m beaten on the line, Charlie Lydon discus, Finlay Carry Steeplechase, Clodagh Burke Discus) and 5 bronze (Rian Mc Kenna Javelin, Robin Coyne Discus, Aoife Nee High Jump, Olwyn Conroy Discus, Meave Mitchell Discus).
Both girls relays teams finished in a creditable 4th place. Some great performances all round 👏
Junior boys in very strong competition ran valiantly with 3 substitutes finishing 7th.
