Things were not all plain sailing for Clifden CS as we found ourselves down by 9 points at half time despite playing well against the wind.
Outstanding second half performances from Aine Gavin in goal, Abigail Deane and Alannah O Donoghue working hard with some nice football finished off with great scores up front by Abigail D, Chloe and Grace Conneely.
Two goals, one penalty and one from play, brilliantly executed by Grace proved to be crucial scores.
