Our Junior Cycle boys secured their second victory of the season with a comfortable win in perfect conditions at the award winning club Colmans Town FC.
Our boys were on top from the start with Ben McDonnell and John Gavin imposing themselves well in front of our solid defence. We dominated possession and were able to carve open their defence with goals from Connal Hennessy, Ronan Mannion and Jack Weesjes. With 2 more group games to follow over the coming weeks, our boys can look forward to those games with confidence especially with solid debuts from Mikey Conroy and Max Baylis.
The Under 15 B team also put on a fine display today and secured a very creditable draw scoring 5 goals in total. Our team showed great determination especially when they went down to 10 players early in the second half and be thankful to Timmy Malone and Finlay Yule for scoring some fine goals. Once again Kevin Allen was outstanding in goal producing some fine saves. Other good performances came from Julien Deane, Nathan Acton and Ronan Heanue.
