Well done to our Senior girls who won their last group game v Carraroe on Tuesday. The girls put in a great effort and came out on top with a score line of 6:12 to 6:9. ⚽
Unfortunately our Junior girls didn't experience the same joy, losing out to a stronger Carraroe team on the day.
Next Junior game will be played on Monday 24th of October.
A thank you and a well done to all the girls who travelled, played and helped out in any way, especially the girls involved in both teams.
It was also an end of an Era for two of our LC girls!
A huge well done and thank you to Molly Boote and Amelia Nee who lined out today for the last time with the school football team. They have been committed, shining stars to all our ladies football teams in Clifden C.S over the past 6 years and they will be missed ✨🌟✨
No doubt they have set a great example to the junior ladies and have highlighted the importance of sport and fitness.
