Headstrong is a peer to peer education programme which aims to create awareness of mental health issues, and encouraging young people to take care of their mental health. We have a noticeboard in school and the team meet 1st years to deliver the programme in an interactive way. The themes covered are:
- Anti-stigma
- Speaking out about mental health
- Coping with stressful situations
- Peer pressure
- Bullying
- Resilience
